to setting internet three on linux ubuntu is quite easy, the modem can be direct use with just add new or edit on network connections. its not need a software as an interface connection just like window do. as we all know that to connecting internet especially Three, need a software kind of mobile partner, this model is not come effect to linux.
let s see how to setting it up.
- Right click network connections on panel and then choose edit connection
- choose on tab mobile broadband and click add
- and then will appear screen new mobile broadband connection
- click botton forward
- if three doesnt over there click one provider indonesiaand click forward
- change the name of provider, replace it to Three
- you can see on network connection will appear Three connection
- click and edit it to new setting number fill it to *99#, username---3data, password --- 3data, APN----3 data
- internet three now ready to used
