Remove program on Ubuntu

to remove a program on ubuntu that we dont need it anymore we do it with two ways like i know, let us working on first way 

click on the system--- administration --- synaptic package manager click or choose the program that want to delete/remove --- right click and mark to removal

the second way to remove program is

on the terminal or command line management tool type sudo apt-get remove (program name) ex: sudo apt-get mplayer
